I've been following bar rescue for quite some time, and the jb taco episode from the show's sixth season is a standout The detailed makeover that took place in march 2019 and subsequent closure in early 2020 sheds light on the challenges many bars face even after expert intervention. This is what gets me these bar owners ask jon for help and then they fight him on everything the food menus,the drink menus, the bar concept.they turn around and scrape the food and drink menus.then they rip out everything that jon did and they go back to their old ways.if they don't want the help don't call jon and ask for help.jon should not. I don't know why he doesn't sue these (and others) ungrateful idiots, after he's poured so much of his work, and that of his staff on/behind the camera. Jb taco was the worst name taffer ever came up with. Drunken donkey bar and grill Harbor point club & grill in richardson was renamed to jb taco in season 6 of the show and then rocket's sports bar & grill once the show ended Rocket's closed, was sold, and is now good vibes bar and grill with new owners.
During the bar rescue makeover, jon taffer decided to change the name of harbor point club & grill to jb taco
The bar did not keep the name and currently goes by the name rocket's sports bar & grill. Jon needs to make them sign a legit contract that they have to keep the concept for 6 months or a year even to give the concept and the new name a chance or they owe the money spent on remodel back to jon.
